Senior Custodian, Per Diem

Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and Supervisors, you will performs a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe, hygienic environment.

Responsibilitiesm may inculde:

  Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, and wax floors as assigned

  
  
• 
  

  Wash walls, doors, windows, and light fixtures

  
  
• 
  

  Empty, clean, sanitize, and reline all trash containers and linen hampers

  
  
• 
  

  Wash and steam rubber floor mats

  
  
• 
  

  Wash dishes, pans, utensils, and small equipment following established procedures

  
  
• 
  

  Clean and properly store all housekeeping equipment and report any malfunctions to the on-duty supervisor

  
  
• 
  

  Follow all prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures

• Able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive stretching, bending, stooping, and reaching
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, and wet environments
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and push carts weighing up to 350 lbs
• Willing to follow the dress code and work in a non-smoking environment
• Practices safe food-handling techniques and maintains good personal hygiene
• Flexible with changing workloads and able to meet production schedules
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with coworkers, customers, supervisors, and managers
