Location: Auburn, MA Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm KARL STORZ is recruiting for a Logistics Center Associate to join the Electro-Mechanical Product Evaluation team. This position is responsible for handling and processing electro-mechanical medical devices and equipment within a reverse logistics environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate and process electro-mechanical medical devices received within the product evaluation department per standard work instruction.
- Process all devices with highest level of quality.
- Confirm all information attached to device coincides with physical part number and serial number (if applicable) on device and SAP.
- Update software as required to specific designated devices.
- Fill in at any other position within the Product Evaluation Department as needed.
- Support and contribute to the KSEA continuous improvement (LEAN) culture.
- Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- HS Diploma or GED
- Experience working with technical equipment and/or in an IT role a plus
- Ability to use standard office equipment and computer business applications. Working knowledge of MS Office preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to follow direction

- Ability to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays (on occasion)
- Ability to adhere to established safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement standards
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Position requires constant and varying degrees of movement including standing, sitting, bending, walking, reaching, grabbing, and packing, lifting, pulling, and pushing
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs
- Must be able to occasionally lift between 30-75lbs as needed with assistance
- Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 320lbs on casters with assistance
- Must be able to occasionally use a warehouse ladder for reaching shelves
- Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack
