Overview NaphCare is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team of medical professionals in Ft Myers Florida, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Lee County Jail. As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will work with the Director of Nursing, correctional staff and other medical professionals to provide quality care to the individuals in residence, while managing the nursing team and ensuring all work is performed in compliance to standards and adherence to regulations. Responsibilities The Assistant Director of Nursing supervises staff and ensures policies and procedures are being followed in our continued mission to provide quality care that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:
Collaborating with medical, mental health and correctional staff to enhance quality patient care while maintaining a safe and secure work environment
Qualifications Experience / Requirements / Qualifications
Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
