Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Business Applications Administrator. Primary Function: Analyze, recommend, design and implement business application products, ensuring that these systems operate efficiently, securely, and reliably, supporting business and technical processes.


Responsibilities

  • Consults with end users to review and analyze business requirements. Researches, designs, builds, documents and implements solutions.
  • Provides technical expertise to product owners and project teams regarding business application functionality.
  • Submits, tracks, completes and follows up on all service requests and/or enhancements submitted internally and to the software vendors ensuring timely turnaround as defined by deadlines and/or goals..
  • Configures, tests, documents and implements new functionality and/or release upgrades for business applications. Educates and coordinates with other areas prior to implementation. Creates and utilizes project plans as needed.
  • Stays abreast of all business application (including but not limited to Mortgage Cadence, MeridianLink, Servicing Director and Episys) functionality both existing and upcoming through documentation, educational sessions, etc. Acts as liaison between the credit union and the software vendors to obtain technology solutions and best practices as necessary.
  • Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Embrace and apply HVCU's guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities.   • Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate, or state authorized high school equivalent certificate required
  • Associate's Degree or at least 2 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 Years Minimum of two years experience with the system administration of banking or credit union account origination/servicing systems experience required
