Position: ONSITE - LEAD Lean Transformation Specialist Location: Mercy Hospital South Shift: FT Days - 40/hrs per week We're a Little Different Our mission is clear. Overview: Leads project teams to improve critical organizational processes that improve quality, patient safety and financial performance. Plans and manages major organizational process improvement change utilizing Six Sigma and Lean Design tools and methodology. Coordinates with other Lean Facilitators and personnel to manage multiple Lean projects, Rapid Improvement Cycle Events (RIE), and follow up activities for redesign improvement efforts, ensuring alignment with Leadership goals. Trains, coaches and implements improvement efforts using the principles of Lean Design with other six sigma and redesign black belts, leadership, providers and coworkers. Mentors other Lean Transformation Specialists. Develops and assists in Lean training and leadership mentoring at many levels of the organization. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in a healthcare related discipline. Completion of Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process, and Lean training is required, along with completion of a project. Experience: Seven (7) years professional business experience with proven ability to identify and resolve problems, plan and conduct complex project assignments and prepare reports. Three (3) years experience in a Lean/Six Sigma role. Certification/Registration: Lean and/or Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent) certification required. Other Skills:
