The IT Business Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial and operational efficiency of the enterprise IT organization. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing key financial transactions, managing documentation workflows, and supporting budget planning activities. The analyst serves as a liaison between across enterprise departmental teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of spend requests, invoices, and contract-related activities.

This role requires onsite presence at our Bar Harbor, ME or Farmington, CT office at least three days per week.

What You'll Contribute

  • Coordinate department spend requests, purchase orders, and invoice processing using purchasing systems and file management tools.
  • Manage contract approval workflows and documentation logistics.
  • Generate and maintain operational reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Prepare data reconciliation and audit-readiness reports.
  • Support the annual IT budget planning cycle by organizing materials, coordinating activities, and providing spend and cost analysis.
  • Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure smooth financial and contractual operations.
  • Maintain data and access permissions for administrative tools (e.g., SharePoint, MS-Planner).
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial workflows.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for audits and knowledge transfer.
  • Train and educate department managers and staff on financial processes.
  • Coordinate and monitor internal controls related to spend and approvals, and conduct audits and analysis.

What You're Good At

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT finance, procurement coordination, or business operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with Lawson RQC or equivalent procurement and financial management platforms, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in financial calculations and formulas.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Ability to coordinate group activities to ensure high-quality data and analysis outcomes.

The salary range for this position is $56,538 - $94,658. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and relevant years of experience.
