Social Campaign Manager, Music This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, California. Summary
We are seeking a Social Campaign Manager to lead music-focused initiatives and campaigns across social platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful social storytelling, create major brand moments, and foster an engaged community of fans and advocates. Our Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience in hands-on digital/social marketing, ideally in the music or culture space
3+ years managing agencies and vendors
Passion for music and culture with a strong foundation in campaign planning, content creation, and publishing
Proficient in leveraging audience insights, platform trends, and performance benchmarks to inform strategy
Skilled in collaborating with creators, artists, high-profile partners, and cross-functional teams
Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to shifting timelines and priorities
Strong storytelling, negotiation, and presentation skills with excellent communication across stakeholders
Creative problem-solver and forward-thinking strategist who stays ahead of social media trends
Flexible with schedule, including on-call nights and weekends, and comfortable with occasional travel for live events
Job Description
In this role, you will incorporate social-first thinking into music marketing campaigns and daily programming to maximize impact across key audiences. You'll partner with cross-functional teams, agencies, and external collaborators to execute integrated go-to-market strategies across owned, earned, and paid channels. This includes developing campaign briefs, supporting real-time coverage at live events, programming and publishing content, and evangelizing social insights and trends across the organization. You will also manage agency relationships and contribute to the ongoing success of the marketing team. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Background in social media, digital marketing, entertainment, or related disciplines
Experience working directly with artists, creators, and external partners is highly valued
Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA, and requires a hybrid onsite schedule
The pay for this W-2 position is $70.75 per hour
