This position will be seated in our home office in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
What You'll Do As a Historian Program Coordinator, you'll:
- Work collaboratively with the corporate historian to accomplish corporate and department projects, goals, and objectives.
- Curate physical and digital historical assets and research projects to prepare for participation in outreach events.
- Produce materials related to our history that support contemporary company goals.
Essential functions include:
- Researching, analyzing, interpreting, writing, and speaking about the company's past. Following set procedures and exercising some independent judgment in carrying out instructions. Resolving most questions/problems and referring complex issues to higher levels.
- Performing basic research, curating the collection, creating/delivering presentations, and developing documents as requested by internal stakeholders. Referring challenging requests to the Corporate Historian.
- Preparing routine correspondence, conducting research, verifying information, and completing forms and reports. Reviewing and indexing historical assets, searching print and media records, and maintaining office supplies, including ordering and inventory management.
- Ensuring all historical documentation aligns with factual accuracy, ethical standards, and organizational values.
- Providing support and collaborating on marketing projects as needed to achieve department and company goals.
- Completing and/or compiling records and obtaining and assembling materials.
- Completing other related duties as requested.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience or two years related work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong relationship building and relationship management skills.
- High self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
