As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular security-related patrols throughout assigned areas, being highly visible to help to deter potential incidents, and offering outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions or information while maintaining a professional Allied Universal presence.
• Document all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support access control procedures and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
