As a Security Guard - Front Desk - Full Time in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and employees entering the location. Your role is crucial in helping to create a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail, while also providing excellent customer service. Pay Rate: $19.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, employees, and/or clients in a professional manner at the front desk, providing a welcoming experience.
• Monitor access to the building or location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist with the registration and logging of guests, visitors, and/or vendors entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and offering directions or assistance as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the location.

What We're Looking For:

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
