As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in High Point, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a dynamic transportation setting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with staff, visitors, and partners, providing outstanding customer service while upholding the high standards of Allied Universal. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the transportation environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and ensuring only authorized personnel are present in restricted areas.
• Document and communicate any incidents, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with transportation personnel, visitors, and members of the public to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
