As a Security Professional Healthcare Patrol in Petersburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the well-being of staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns within the healthcare location.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, hazards, or unusual activities as required by site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control and visitor management to help to maintain a secure environment for all occupants of the healthcare location.
• Collaborate with staff and public personnel as needed to address incidents and provide support during emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
