As a Security Professional - Access Control - Driving Post in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for people and property. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help promote a sense of security. You will also deliver exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism and care. This position requires a valid driver's license in the state where you work, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry, following site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Perform security-related patrols around the facility and perimeter at scheduled and random intervals, adapting to the unique needs of a technology, media, or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
