Job Title: Patient Access Representative Job Description
As a Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing professional and empathetic customer support. You will be responsible for processing and following up on customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, maintaining up-to-date and detailed records in our internal systems, and communicating effectively with patients, clients, and internal teams to resolve inquiries. Responsibilities * Answer incoming calls and provide professional, empathetic customer support. * Process and follow up on customer orders with accuracy and efficiency. * Maintain up-to-date and detailed records in internal systems. * Communicate with patients, clients, and internal teams to resolve inquiries. * Collaborate with other team members on the customer service floor. * Potential direct patient contact for orthotic fittings, including post-mastectomy and diabetic footwear fittings. * Perform sales order and data entry. * Utilize strong computer and phone skills. * Understand and verify insurance information. * Provide customer service in a retail setting. * Assemble products and manage inventory. * Put away stock. Essential Skills * Proven experience in a customer service or administrative support role. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). * Highly dependable with excellent organizational abilities. * Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Healthcare experience is a plus but not required. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position requires working onsite from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role involves collaboration on the customer service floor, utilizing technology and maintaining a professional and organized workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Bend, Wisconsin. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
