SERVICE ACCESS TEAM LEADER Coordinate and pa rticipateinclinic service activities toachieve continuous and optimal pa tientcarewithin a call center environment.Duties and responsibilities of thislevel coordinate and participate indepartment/clinic service activi tiestoinclude greeting, interviewing,registering, admitting and disregis tering, and discharging patients. Coordinatediagnostic and treatment act ivities of the department/clinic with services of otherdepartments to en sureeffective patientcare and efficient service. Supervise andparticipat e indeterminingsponsorship eligibility, making financialarrangements, an destablishing fees. Maintain liaison with professional medicalstaff and other personnel in administering policies and procedures regarding patie ntflow and utilization of space, time, supplies and equipment. Providere commendations to the Health Center Administrator/department head on poli ciesand procedures to improve patient care and utilization of clinic res ources.Review patient charges to ensure accuracy and answer questions co ncerningbilling procedures and charges. Plan and schedule work for the c lerical staffensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate ma nning, space andfacilities for subsequent performance of duties. Train n ewpersonnel.Responsible for or provide recommendations on various person nelactions including,but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions and vacationschedules. Perform other related duties incident alto the work describedherein. Required Qualifications at thisLev elEducation High schooldiploma required. Experience four years of experience in a healthcare settingis required. An Associate's degree inh ealthcare or business may substitute fortwo years of experience. ABachel or's degree in business or healthcare maysubstitute for four years ofexp erience.
