Senior Drupal Developer - Proposal

Job Description:

This contract is to provide services to assist with Drupal enhancements and operation and maintenance support on the FNS Drupal Websites. The vendor shall provide full Operations, Maintenance, and Enhancement (OM&E) support and Azure platform engineering support.

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a Sr. Developer that is required to be a Certified Drupal Developer, have relevant Azure platform experience and should have proven experience on Agile projects and have expertise in Agile Analysis (e.g., capturing user stories), Design, Development, Agile Testing, Configuration Management, Systems Architecture, Content Delivery Systems (e.g., Akamai and Azure), and experience architecting and instantiating Azure Kubernetes Container Services across multiple Azure subscriptions and platforms. The developer will have experience building Drupal custom modules, writing and extending Drupal core and custom modules to improve the functionality of site that enhance the User Experience (UX). The developer must have experience implementing multi-language sites including support both for natively translated pages and automated API call to Google to provide other translated content. The developer must have integrated custom and third-party API services to share content across multiple Drupal sites. The developer must have experience with search API facets, taxonomies, and working with Solr search and Redis caching and a minimum of five (5) years of FNS Drupal experience.

This is a proposal position contingent upon award.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Certified Drupal Developer with a minimum of five (5) years of FNS Drupal experience.
• Relevant Azure platform experience, including:
  
  
  
  • Architecting and instantiating Azure Kubernetes Container Services (AKS) across multiple subscriptions and platforms.
  • Experience with Akamai and Azure Content Delivery Systems.
  
  
  
  
• Proven experience working on Agile projects, including:
  
  
  
  • Agile analysis (e.g., capturing user stories).
  • Agile design, development, and testing.
  • Configuration management and systems architecture.
  
  
  
  
• Experience building and extending Drupal custom modules and core modules to improve site functionality and enhance User Experience (UX).
• Skilled in implementing multi-language sites, including:
  
  
  
  • Support for natively translated pages.
  • Automated API calls (e.g., Google Translation API) for additional translated content.
  
  
  
  
• Experience integrating custom and third-party API services to share content across multiple Drupal sites.
• Expertise with Search API facets, taxonomies, and Solr search.
• Experience with Redis caching to optimize performance and scalability.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must have 5 years USDA FNS Drupal experience
• Certified Drupal Developer and should have proven experience on Agile projects supporting Drupal websites, migrating sites to Azure, and upgrading applications across multiple major Drupal versions, e.g., from Drupal 8 to Drupal 9 and from Drupal 9 to Drupal 10.
• Expertise in Drupal core and monitoring and applying Drupal updates and security patches as well as conducting security scans and remediation of issues.
• Expertise in website management, online tools, Quality Assurance, Usability, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Expertise in Application Programming Interface (API) development and maintenance.
• Knowledge in Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and Google Search Console including establishing UTM parameters. Expertise in using cloud-based data warehouse (such as Google BigQuery) for management of large datasets including storage and analysis.
• Expertise in systems used to manage identify and login credentials across multiple applications.
• Expertise in integrating login systems into websites and applications.
• Knowledge in website and tool tutorial strategies including, but not limited to, interactive website/app walkthroughs; video development; and other materials.
• Experience with security standards and procedures including, but not limited to, requirements, protocols, and procedures (quarterly privileged user authentication, annual security evaluations, data/artifact request, etc.).
• Expertise in Section 508 compliance and remediation.
• Expertise in Adobe Acrobat formatting and editing software.
• U.S. citizenship required

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, other computer-related disciplines or comparable experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FNS Drupal experience.

Salary Range:

115-125k annually (salary dependent upon experience)
