Application Developer - Proposal

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking an Application Developer who is responsible for the development of Drupal applications that integrate with mobile applications, such as Start Simple with MyPlate and Alexa Skills on both the iOS and Android platforms. The candidate will have demonstrated experience with developing mobile applications and a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, other computer-related disciplines or comparable experience. The Application Developer must have expertise in Modern Mobile Architecture as well as software design patterns to ensure productivity, maintainability and scalability Mobile Applications; in addition to having experience with React Native, Drupal, Swift, Java, Python, Perl, Shell Scripting, Apache, NodeJS, Native app writing ability, coding, software design, automated unit testing and code reviews, and API development. The Application Developer must have knowledge of UI/UX and backend web services and collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions and design mobile code and implement both functional and non-functional requirements.

This is a proposal role contingent upon award.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using modern mobile architecture and software design patterns.
• Apply expertise in React Native, Drupal, Swift, Java, Python, Perl, Shell Scripting, Apache, NodeJS, and native app development.
• Write, test, and review high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Conduct automated unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Design, build, and integrate APIs to support mobile and backend functionality.
• Apply UI/UX principles to create user-friendly and responsive mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
• Implement both functional and non-functional requirements within mobile application development.
• Ensure application performance, maintainability, scalability, and security.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancement of existing mobile applications.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Agile Development (preferably Scrum methodology)
• Drupal Developer with proven experience on Agile projects supporting Drupal websites, migrating sites to Azure.
• Expertise in building and integrating mobile applications with Drupal on both the iOS and Android platforms.
• Expertise in websites, online tools, and mobile app Quality Assurance, Usability, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Expertise in UX/UI design for producing intuitive, high quality customer experiences and interactions.
• Knowledge of Google Dialogflow CX Chatbot
• Expertise in Application Programming Interface (API) development and maintenance.
• Creating and producing high quality visual materials in support of websites, tools, and apps, including template creation, graphic design/editing and video editing and production.
• Expertise in mobile app development and maintenance including, but not limited to, programming/user interface principles and requirements; App Store and Google Play requirements, display content (description preview images/videos, etc.), and deployments; mobile app content management system (CMS); and testing protocols.
• U.S. citizenship required

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 Plus Years.

Salary Range:

115-125k (salary is dependent upon experience)
