JOB SUMMARY

The Treasury Manager/Senior Analyst role will oversee the company's development and maintenance of cash flow, liquidity, and balance sheet forecasting, as well as manage banking and treasury operations, and provide financial insights to support strategic planning and financial risk management. The role requires advanced financial modeling skills, experience in multi-entity environments, strong analytical abilities, and knowledge of finance and accounting principles, with a preference for candidates holding relevant certifications and experience in multinational and manufacturing settings.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions listed below are representative of the functions that must be performed in order to satisfactorily fulfill the purpose of this job. Additional functions and duties may be assumed or assigned from time to time.

Cash and Cash Flow Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, using both direct and indirect methods
  • Provide insights and recommendations on cash forecasts, future needs/requirements, opportunities and risks
  • Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts; identify drivers and recommend corrective actions to enhance accuracy
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, tax and business units to gather inputs and validate assumptions against forecasts
  • Identify and mitigate business and financial risks (e.g., FX, interest rates)
  • Monitor market conditions and macroeconomic trends
  • Prepare treasury reports for management, including liquidity dashboards

Balance Sheet Forecasting

  • Model and forecast key balance sheet components, with focus on working capital elements
  • Support strategic planning and scenario analysis with upside and downside views
  • Align forecasts with liquidity and capital structure goals

Banking & Treasury Operations

  • Cash management, including monitoring of bank balances and liquidity across multiple entities
  • Manage intercompany funding and cash pooling arrangements
  • Oversee bank account structures and relationships
  • Participate in banking relationship management, including KYC, account openings/closures, and fee analysis
  • Familiarity with treasury systems and tools and provide support for the implementation and enhancement of treasury management systems and automation tools
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Track and report covenant compliance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital.
  • Experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated self-starter, with high degree of accountability, adherence to deadlines, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
  • Experience in preparing and presenting detailed reports, along with sensitivities, risks, and opportunities, to a variety of audiences and levels
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or related field, preferably also with CFA, CTP, or CPA certification
  • Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, and strong understanding of finance, accounting, and their interplay as it affects balance sheet accounts and cash balances
  • Minimum of five years of experience in cash and balance sheet forecasting, with a demonstratable track record of success in complex, multinational environments
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and identify trends
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
