What you'll do at Jamf:

The Senior Director, Channel & Alliances is a senior leadership role within the channel sales organization; responsible for driving partner success and sales in and for improving Jamf's reach into new and existing markets via partners.This leader is responsible for developing and implementing partner strategies, designing channel programs that enable Jamf to establish substantive growth markets aligned with Jamf's strategic partner ecosystem. The role will provide effective, ethical and focused leadership to the channel sales organization and will foster a culture of success based on respect for customers, employees and Jamf's values. Their work in this area will influence overall company strategy and business objectives.

As Senior Director, we expect the incumbent to have worked at this level before; bringing proven thought leadership and effective ways of working to our busy team. We expect to see a natural ability to work collaboratively with other Jamf departments, not only to ensure and improve the success of your own, but work as a team for Jamf as a whole.

This role if offered as remote in Minneapolis, MN. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications in Minneapolis, MN.

What you can expect to do this role:



  • Develop and execute Jamf's channel and alliance strategies for AMER in alignment with Jamf's business objectives, sales objectives and global channel and alliance strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with other senior leaders to drive achievement in other teams and external departments impacted by the channel and alliance goals.
  • Represent and drive channel & alliances strategic projects and overall team direction, working with other senior leadership to obtain funding and buy-in.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic planning and execution of co-selling with channel partners (resellers, distributors, global systems integrators, carriers) and our alliance partners (e.g. Apple, AWS) Mini
  • Expand market adoption of Jamf solutions through business development activities with our vertical / industry specific solutions partners.
  • Continually evolve scalable programs, processes and structures as both Jamf and our partners grow, to ensure that they are generating the right outcomes for Jamf, our partners and our customers.
  • Cultivate executive relationships with alliance, channel and solution partners. Optimize and drive partner performance through business reviews, identifying additional business opportunities to expand revenue and deploying a joint sales and marketing approach.
  • Lead enablement and go to market plans with focus partners within the region. Coordinate the development and execution of sales and technical enablement as well as joint marketing.
  • Drive scalability within our higher volume, lower value channels by working with Channel Operations to automate our processes.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and tightly integrate our channel and alliance strategy into our entire customer operations (Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Success, etc.).
  • Manage and oversee all internal change management and education of the sales organization on co-selling with partners/identifying opportunities with partners.
  • Build a clear framework for measuring success within your organization and standardized measures of success (MOS) that are aligned with the global channel organization.
  • Provide clear, concise updates to leadership regarding the program key MOS, initiatives, performance, and overall strategy.
  • Achieve and exceed sales metrics and goals for the channel and alliances organization.
  • Build a close working relationship with our Global VP, Channels & Alliances to ensure we operate consistently with our global Jamf channel strategy and programs.


What you can expect to do in this role:



  • Minimum of 10 years of building and leading high performing partner, sales and/or business development teams in a high growth technology environment (Required)
  • Successful track record of developing and growing strategic partnerships at the executive level as well as high volume partnerships (Required)
  • Deep understanding how to construct and manage hyperscaler, consulting, reseller, ISV, and marketplace partner programs (Required)
  • Minimum of 5 years in a channel sales and alliances-oriented background in enterprise software, focused on multiple partner types (Preferred)
  • Extensive external industry network with 3-5 years of SaaS / PaaS based solutions and Cloud partner channel sales experience (Preferred)
  • Proven ability to build, lead and execute channel strategy with quantifiable results building the execution with key partners (Preferred)
  • Working experience in the Apple ecosystem (Preferred)


Education and Certifications:



  • HS Diploma / GED Degree (Required)
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree or higher (Preferred)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered

The below annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
