Description

This position will need to have flexible work hours to ensure they are supporting the person outside of the professional's work hours which includes but is not limited to performance assessment, additional soft skill training, and/or external life-management problem-solving. This may be delivered in either small segments of time or possibly for longer durations.

Develop an individualized support plan for each neurodivergent professional which includes a fading plan, ensures goals are developed, implemented, and progress documented through the assigned documentation system(s).

Complete regular communication defined as at least one time per week, with neurodivergent professionals, stakeholders, and project team. Communicate with immediacy to the director any personal, behavioral, and employment issues for assigned professionals.

Complete data collection in designated systems thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner.

Documentation may include the use of multiple management systems.

Ability to assess immediate situation with solutions. Meet as designated with external stakeholders regarding assigned professionals to discuss support services, needs, and success including referrals to wrap-around resources as needed.

Attend and actively participate in required training, professional development, project team and supervision meetings.

Technical Job Coach will be expected to support neurodivergent professionals in advanced and highly professional work environments. Expediency is expected to bring professionals up to employer standards. Requires highly organized work.

Periodic learning materials may be presented to assist in current practices for supporting neurodivergent professionals.

Extensive travel to on-site employers to provide support services to assigned neurodivergent professionals. This may include in-town or out-of town/state travel. Complete all required paperwork to document expenses.

Represent Melwood Community Services with professionalism.
