InsightFS is headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsinwith 23 branches across the state and upper peninsula of Michigan. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Serves as the Operations Administrative Assistant intern under the direction of location management, trains and assists with general location functions to learn the foundation of the system and industry to prepare for a future career in an agriculture cooperative.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Eager to go above and beyond helping customers.
  • Hands-on experience in agronomy and energy operations.
  • Visiting FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
  • Gaining understanding and experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Learning the processes involved with customer account management and overall business processes.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be pursuing an agriculture or job-related degree or certification from a 2-year community or technical college, or a freshman or sophomore at a 4-year university.
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates essential abilities including communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Must be able to travel independently and overnight when necessary.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 50# pounds as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
