Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, Internal Communications plays a critical role in developing and delivering clear, consistent, and engaging messaging across the organization. This position supports the Director of Internal Communications in planning and executing communication strategies that foster transparency, employee engagement, and alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines strong writing and editing skills with creativity, visual storytelling, and project management expertise to ensure effective communication through a variety of internal channels.

Job Responsibilities




  • Support the development and execution of strategic internal communication plans aligned with organizational priorities



  • Create, edit, and design engaging content for internal platforms, including newsletters, branded emails, SharePoint sites, and presentation materials



  • Draft communication plans and messaging to support cross-functional initiatives and organizational announcements



  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to gather accurate, relevant, and timely content for internal distribution



  • Plan and assist in the execution of company-wide events such as quarterly all-hands meetings and employee engagement sessions



  • Manage and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and coordinated communication delivery



  • Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness using metrics and employee feedback, providing recommendations for improvement



  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives by supporting event planning, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration



  • Uphold brand voice and tone consistency across all internal communication materials




Job Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field required



  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in internal communications or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated success in strategic communication execution



  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills



  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and SharePoint



  • Creative thinker with strong storytelling and visual communication skills



  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions while managing multiple priorities

  • Full-time position



  • Onsite or hybrid work environment (as determined by organizational policy)



  • Occasional extended hours may be required to support company-wide initiatives and events
