Reference check requirements: Three (3) professional references, two (2) of which should be former or current supervisors and (1) professional reference. A professional reference such as a previous or current co-worker may be used as one of the references. Position Summary: This is a tenure-track position. Provide guidance, instruction, and leadership to Registered surgical technology students at the assigned program site. Supports essential program functions, including faculty coordination, curriculum management, and student success initiatives. Collaborates with clinical affiliates (Clinical Manager), the Schedule Coordinator, and/or Educational Coordinator for the Operating Room, utilizing good interpersonal skills in relating to students, clinical personnel, and physicians (per AST Clinical Coordinator Description). JOB LOCATION: The primary job location will consist of clinical facilities and institutions utilized by Pellissippi State Community College for surgical technology student experiences, and can include all site campuses.
