As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding to situations as needed. By providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you will help to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. This post requires you to drive as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the security-related needs of the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report activities and/or incidents to appropriate personnel, maintaining detailed and accurate records as required.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information, contributing to a welcoming environment.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to maintain authorized access to designated areas.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
