FORK LIFT DRIVER A

TITLE: Forklift Driver A

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Assist in order pulling, material handling, loading, and unloading of trucks, housekeeping and safety compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1year shipping/receiving experience.
• Experience using RF systems preferred.
• Previous order pulling, inventory, and cycle counting experience.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Move and align posted pallets to designated areas not processed through the CMA system.
• Load and align pallets from the "Pick-Up List" to the loading area.
• Load and ship pallets according to the Bill of Lading (B/L) and "Pick-Up List."
• Deliver products in accordance with the "Inventory Issuing Ticket."
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area.
• Inspect and perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts before use.
• Keep storage, loading, and forklift parking areas clean and organized.
• Process cases as directed by management.
• Transfer pallets from the production table to designated warehouse locations.
• Review and verify load sheets for the evening shift.
• Ensure all pallets are properly loaded for each shipment.
• Perform order picking as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Inside and outside environments apply.
• Manufacturing and /or warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot).
• Subject to noise, causing reason to shout to be heard above the noise level.

AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING:

• Forklift Driver decisions.

• Electric sit-down forklift.
• Electric cherry picker.
• Cordless XR, IND Laser scanner.
• Tablet.
