Human Resources Department

The Human Resources (HR) team is responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment through retirement, collaborating closely with various departments such as New Site Development, Construction, Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment. Our HR team is distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach. Unlike in many organizations where HR functions are limited to administrative oversight, our HR professionals are empowered with the authority and responsibility to drive critical processes directly. This includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational planning. By leveraging in-house expertise, our HR team can align long-term organizational sustainability with innovative HR practices and cost-effective strategies. This alignment ensures that our workforce is engaged, motivated, and equipped to contribute to the company's success. Each member of our HR team plays a pivotal role in making high-impact decisions, resulting in a more dynamic and productive work environment.

Position Overview

This role will be based in Ashburn, VA in alignment with our flexible work policy (3 days in, 2 days flexible).

Are you passionate about uncovering insights that drive people-first strategies? Vantage is seeking a DataAnalystin People Analytics that will play a vital role in transforming data into strategic value for our global Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams. This role combines your analytical strengths with your ability to tell clear, actionable stories, helping business leaders make informed, evidence-based decisions about our most important asset: our people.

Reporting to the Director of People Analytics, you'll act as an embedded expert within the Global HR function-leading regular reporting, delivering ad hoc analysis, and collaborating with the wider analytics team to evolve our capabilities in business intelligence and AI.

Essential Job Functions

  • People Analytics & Reporting (~50%)
    • Deliver recurring people analytics reports, including compliance-based reporting, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
    • Collect and incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure reporting is relevant, usable, and forward-looking.
  • Business Support & Ad Hoc Analysis (~35%)
    • Act as an internal consultant, responding to HR and TA requests for custom analysis.
    • Use data to answer critical questions about talent trends, organizational health, and workforce planning.
  • Tools, Innovation & Collaboration (~15%)
    • Partner with our central analytics team to enhance BI tools and data pipelines.
    • Explore opportunities for predictive analytics and AI integration into HR workflows.
  • Additional Duties
    • Additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in data analysis, computer science, or a related numerically focused field.
  • 1-2 years of industry experience in a data analysis or reporting role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI and Excel; familiarity with the broader Microsoft data stack (e.g., Fabric, Power Automate) is a plus.
  • An ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a collaborative, curious mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with the ability to create engaging and effective data visualizations.
  • Strong consulting, relationship-building, and influencing skills-able to understand business needs and shape insights accordingly.
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves (required do not remove)

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
