Job Title: Winder Primary Objective
This position is responsible for winding transformer coils used in electrical equipment and instruments or as electronic components. Coils are built according to wiring diagrams, sample coils, or work orders, using coil-winding machines and hand tools. The role involves reviewing diagrams and work orders, or examining sample coils, to determine the type and size of wire specified and the type, size, length, circumference, and windings of the coil to be wound. Primary Responsibilities
Wind standard coils for dry type transformers
Perform welding and/or brazing to join bus bars to foil
Utilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demands
Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.
Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standards
Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints
Keep all work areas clean, organized, and presentable
Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
1 year of manufacturing experience in a related role
This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Skills
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
3 or more years of soldering, brazing, or welding experience, OR a completed welding certificate from an accredited institution, OR equivalent high school trades course
Previous machine operation experience
