Director of Finance, U.S. Kidney Care

DaVita is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Finance to join our Corporate Finance Team. This role is crucial for providing financial leadership, driving investment strategy, and fostering a culture of accountability and growth across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who can seamlessly transition between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on financial management. You will be a trusted partner to senior teammates, translating financial data into actionable insights and helping to guide key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Forecasting: Lead and own all financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities for Atlas functions. This includes leading the annual budgeting process, developing long-term financial forecasts, and proactively identifying key trends and variances to drive business performance.
  • Investment Governance & Management: Serve as the leader for our investment governance process, providing financial oversight and strategic guidance on capital allocation and major business initiatives. You will partner directly with executives to ensure accountability on committed actions and results, ensuring our investments align with corporate goals and deliver a strong return.
  • Outstanding Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CFO and other executive leaders, fostering strong partnerships across clinical, operational, and business development teams. You will effectively communicate complex financial recommendations, influence key decisions, and provide a clear, data-driven perspective.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Coach and mentor a team of finance professionals. You will also have a key role in developing financial acumen across the organization, helping non-finance leaders understand how to manage a P&L and leverage data to achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance; MBA preferred
  • Proven experience in a financial management role with a strong track record of successful financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in capital planning, investment governance, or a similar process.
  • A passion for team development and a track record of coaching and mentoring others.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information and present it clearly to a diverse audience.
  • Experience in the healthcare or a related industry is a plus.

Here's what you can expect when you join our Village:

  • A "community first, company second" culture based on Core Values that really matter
  • Clinical outcomes consistently ranked above the national average
