Job SummaryThe Maintenance Manager will oversee the Maintenance Department, ensuring plant equipment reliability and performance in support of divisional safety, quality, and productivity goals. This role is responsible for managing, programming, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, while leading a team to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Principal Duties and Responsibilities* Manage the Maintenance Department, providing leadership, training, and direction to staff. * Oversee all manufacturing equipment and facilities utilizing CMMS software and preventative maintenance programs. * Ensure that accurate and appropriate staffing levels are achieved so all shifts have mechanical, electrical, and PLC support. * Support production goals by driving KPIs that minimize downtime, increase quality compliance, and ensure department spend stays within budget. * Maintain and organize machine, budget, and maintenance data for use by other departments and leadership. * Promote quality improvements and implement training programs as required. * Ensure compliance with safety policies, hazardous materials handling, and regulatory requirements. * Participate in recruiting, training, evaluating employee performance, and recommending promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions. * Demonstrate leadership through strong attendance, work ethic, adaptability to change, and alignment with company goals. Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree or a Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance; 1 to 3 years of leadership or management experience. * Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, control technology, and welding. * Experience with safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations. * Knowledge of hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practices. * Proficiency in the use of precision tools, measuring instruments, and other hand tools. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business software. * Preferred: Understanding of company policies, practices, and procedures.
