About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused professional to join our team as Specialist, Stock Procurement. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end process of sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating delivery of vehicles from dealer stock to meet client needs efficiently and cost-effectively. You will act as a liaison between clients, dealers, and internal teams to ensure timely vehicle acquisition, accurate documentation, and adherence to operational standards. You will provide consultative support to clients, leverage dealer and OEM relationships to secure competitive pricing, and contribute to process improvements that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Review and validate client requests for stock vehicle orders, ensuring specifications and configurations meet policy and program requirements.

  • Provide consultative guidance to clients regarding available options, pricing, and delivery timelines.

  • Communicate order status updates proactively and manage expectations throughout the fulfillment process.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries and issue resolution related to vehicle sourcing and procurement.

  • Source available inventory through preferred dealer networks that meet client and program requirements.

  • Confirm vehicle pricing, incentives, and delivery terms while maintaining compliance with established policies.

  • Prepare purchase documentation, validate VIN details, ensure contract accuracy, and maintain audit-ready files in alignment with compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Client Services, Vendor Relations, finance, and operations to ensure alignment between purchase activities, billing, and delivery milestones.

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies, participate in quality reviews and calibration sessions, and stay current on market trends, OEM programs, and dealer incentives to support continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, order management, or automotive/fleet operations.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal systems quickly.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in quality evaluations, root-cause findings, and corrective actions that influence service consistency, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction.

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to operate autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: College/University degree preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

  • Familiarity with OEM, dealer, or fleet procurement systems preferred.

  • Experience contributing to process improvements, root-cause analysis, and scalable operational solutions.

  • Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Location: Hopkins, MN

The hiring base salary range for this position is annually. Actual compensation within this range will be $60,400 to $83,050 dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
