Front end Software Development Engineering Engineer 3

Job description
Responsibilties

• Participate in daily standups and agile ceremonies.
• Develop front-end applications using React or Angular.
• Build back-end services and APIs using Java.
• Work with databases (Postgres preferred, SQL acceptable) for data storage and retrieval.
• Deploy applications in the cloud (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure also acceptable).
• Securely store and manage documents in cloud storage (e.g., GCS buckets) and integrate with messaging services.
• Take user stories from requirements through to implementation and delivery.
• Collaborate with a small team of engineers, providing peer reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Balance coding, problem solving, and iterative feedback to improve solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 6-10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong front-end development skills with React or Angular (ability to code from scratch).
• Proficiency with Java.
• Experience with databases (Postgres preferred; SQL acceptable).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills - able to work closely with peers and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset, adaptable to feedback, with a balance of attitude and aptitude.
