Summary: Works in conjunction with the anesthesiologist and the nurse anesthetist to prepare patients for anesthesia and surgery. Ensures care for equipment utilized. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Essential Functions -Cleans, sterilizes, and sets up all types of anesthesia equipment. -Assists anesthesia provider with monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management. -Prepares anesthesia carts and anesthesia machines with appropriate supplies in a timely manner to facilitate room turnover. -Ensures proper functioning, condition, and positioning of anesthesia equipment. This position supports the liver transplant team.
