About Reproductive Freedom for All (Formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America)
About the role:
For more than 55 years, Reproductive Freedom for All and its chapters have fought to protect and expand reproductive freedom -including access to abortion and contraception - for everybody. We are powered by our more than 4 million members from every state and congressional district in the country, representing the 8 in 10 Americans who believe every person should have the freedom to make the best decision for themselves about if, when, and how to raise a family. Reproductive Freedom for All centers diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our organization and our work. Continuously learning from our history, we hold ourselves accountable to achieve reproductive freedom with equitable access for everybody. As the oldest and largest national membership organization primarily focused on advocating for abortion access, we organize and mobilize, galvanizing millions of people to take action to defend reproductive freedom, and shining a spotlight of accountability on bad actors who work to impose their ideological agenda on others. We also work to elect champions for reproductive freedom and advance state and federal legislation to safeguard it. For more information on Reproductive Freedom for All, please visit our website. This position is remote, with travel required (about 25% of time). The ideal candidate is passionate about both fundraising and reproductive freedom and has a proven track record of successfully soliciting five and six figure gifts, and making the case that philanthropy can improve equity. At this momentous time, we're seeking someone who can help us continue to grow our major gifts program (with a mindfulness for diversity and inclusion in enacting growth strategies). This person will be responsible for managing a portfolio of donors who have the capability to give six-figure gifts and for growing their portfolio through strategic prospect development. They will solicit and close gifts and provide excellent stewardship to our existing donors, working in collaboration with senior leadership and board members. They will be a clear and compelling communicator, both verbally and in writing. This person will also be detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a professional demeanor and remaining flexible in a fast paced and ever shifting environment. They are able to work both collaboratively and independently, and are ready to reach ambitious goals. This person will be familiar with reproductive rights and/or political fundraising.
