Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12+ month contract position. Requirements: BS degree in Computer Science or related field 7+ years of extensive experience working as a Front end JS developer (familiarity with redux a plus) Thorough understanding of React JS and its core principles Good understanding of Node, Babel, ES6, Javascript or Typescript, npm, webpack Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest and Jasmine Good understanding of LESS/SASS CSS, Bootstrap, Animations Experience on working with NodeJS SPA frameworks Experience working with RDBMS or NoSQL databases Familiarity with web services, Rest APIs and microservice based architecture Understanding of Git version control, bitbucket, JIRA Experience with data query and manipulation languages like GraphQL, SQL Ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment Very good communication and problem solving skills Experience building customer-facing web applications A strong technical foundation and experience building user interfaces for complex applications Experience with C#, Python, .NET framework, .Net core, SQL, WCF/Web Services, WPF/WinForms, Visual Studio IDE Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server) and some pub/sub MQ platform .Net Framework 4.0, .Net Core, Asnc-Await, TPL library, multitasking, MVVM concepts and design patterns Test driven development, automated unit and integration tests Experience with SpecFlow Familiarity with CI-CD tools including Git, Jenkins, Datical and Ansible, etc. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, good attention to details and work well in a distributed team environment Self-starter and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Problem solving, attention to details and work well in a distributed team environment Ability to develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications and supporting functions Strong object-oriented concepts and experience in enterprise development Hands on experience with microservice architecture Desired skills: Financial Services industry experience Experience with Python Knowledge on ag grid/webix/similar datagrid components Wireframing user interfaces (Figma/Axure/InVision), UI Mockups, UX Design ZeroMQ, MSMQ, AMPS or comparable MQ system Nunit, BDD, SpecFlow testing Infragistics UI components, Autosys or comparable Job Scheduler Experience with Actor model / service fabric Previous experience in financial industry Experiences with no-SQL DB(ex: MongoDb) Familiarity with Agile driven development and Atlassian tools Experience with OpenFin or Finsemble Pay range: $53.20 - $61.20 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
