EXCITED TO GROW YOUR CAREER? WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE! The FP&A Manager provides financial management in areas of forecasting and reporting of actual results, budgeting and supporting financial analysis of Maritz Business Events Solutions (BES).

Additionally, you'll provide financial planning and analysis leadership to the FP&A team and cross-functional leaders throughout the organization.

Note: This is a hybrid role onsite in our Fenton, MO campus 3 days per week.

Primary Responsibilities

40% - Supports Vice Presidents and department managers with forecast, analysis of actual financial results, strategies, metrics and other financial requirements that are requested by the Leadership team. Acts as a key financial business partner to Technology and Operations leadership teams, which includes financial presentations and reviews to management.

40% - Manages expense base in terms of forecasting and budgeting. Analyzes staffing levels by utilizing labor capacity grids, program labor requirements, and overall utilization. Provides financial leadership and insight around productivity, operational, and efficiency metrics used by FP&A team to manage both labor and non-labor SG&A expenses.

20% - Lead, facilitate, and perform ad-hoc analysis and business process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Finance or Accounting required or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years' experience in an accounting or financial analysis role.

  • Must exhibit financial leader qualities and skill sets as a self-starter willing to work independently.

  • Must possess excellent financial and analytical skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills/ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Outstanding oral and written communications, including exposure to leadership presentations.

  • Advanced computer skills on financial systems along with Excel, Word and Outlook. MBA preferred.
