Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Shift Schedule:

• Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (or until the job is complete)
• Occasional Saturdays required

Responsibilities:

• Crate Construction: Build wooden crates and containers to precise dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Material Handling: Select appropriate wood and materials based on job specifications.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to determine crate specifications.
• Cutting & Assembling: Cut wood to size and assemble using nails, screws, and glue to ensure structural integrity.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished crates to confirm they meet company quality and safety standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in woodworking, crate building, or a similar hands-on role preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and safety
• Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively
