Inventory Associate

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? Staffmark is seeking a reliable Inventory Associate for a growing facility in Pierceton, IN. In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting multiple departments by accurately managing inventory, maintaining organization across storage areas, and following best practices to ensure smooth operations.

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Pull inventory for deliveries and process orders using Transfer Orders (T.O.'s)
• Ensure timely and accurate picking and stocking of materials
• Organize and stage inventory neatly on labeled shelves and designated areas
• Use scanners and SAP systems to track, move, and locate inventory accurately
• Perform inventory-related tasks for special projects including cycle counts, germ testing samples, quality checks, and discards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of coolers and stock areas
• Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements & Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory systems preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use a stepladder, and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, squatting, reaching) throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in cold environments (approx. 40F for up to 30 minutes at a time)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
