KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Corporate Affairs, AI and Digital Innovation to join our Corporate Affairs organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Communications senior leadership to develop KPMG's AI communications strategy focused on shaping, advancing and protecting reputation; oversees and implements strategic plan day to day and develops ideas to accelerate progress against strategic priorities with both internal and external audiences; analyze and refine the strategy as the AI landscape and technology rapidly evolves as an avid consumer of media and the AI topic
  • Collaborate with Communications colleagues, business leaders and SMEs from across the firm to ensure cohesive and effective firm positioning across various platforms and audiences; maintain deep knowledge of the business strategy, competitive positioning and key internal and external initiatives, acting as a go-to resource for this knowledge across the Corporate Affairs team
  • Develop and oversee the stakeholder engagement strategy for the Vice Chair of AI and Digital Innovation that comprehensively looks across internal leadership meetings, influencers including analysts, technology partners, clients and the media
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Vice Chair of AI and Digital Innovation as well as the Head of the US AI Program; play an instrumental role in shaping and enhancing their internal and market presence through strategic coaching and high-visibility communications initiatives; bring new ideas forward based on internal factors and external trends
  • Establish best practice processes and analytics to inform communications strategy and reporting; design and implement measurement frameworks to assess the impact of communication strategies and report on key metrics to demonstrate progress and value
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the communications team; foster an innovative, collaborative, and high-performance culture
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum ten years of recent experience, including working as a trusted communications advisor in a similar role, preferably within a big tech environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful communications strategy execution
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as experience with AI tools for communications and emerging media types and formats
  • Superior relationship manager, collaborator and idea builder who can lead and excel in a fast-paced environment; experience in executive coaching, including the ability to present concepts confidently and persuasively
  • Progressive experience managing teams
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. California Salary Range: $155000 - $311000
