Position Description We are looking for a Senior Domestic Tax Analyst who will report to our Manager, Tax Accounting and Technology. You will oversee the daily compliance and control of all domestic income tax related functions of the parent corporation and its wholly owned domestic subsidiaries in addition to certain foreign disregarded entities. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Racine, WI. Key Responsibilities U.S. Income Tax You will oversee the preparation and review and completion of the federal, state and local income tax returns, extensions and estimated tax payments of the company and our subsidiaries. Help with accounting for all elements of the quarterly and annual income taxes. Coordinate income tax account reconciliations. Monitor legislative, administrative and judicial developments. Preparation and review of income tax responses and supporting documentation for federal and state tax agency notices and audits. Help evolve the tax reporting function, tax technology tools, and technological enhancements. Internal Controls Ensure the compliance with our Income tax Financial Standard Practices (FSPs). Help test the Income Tax FSPs with internal audit and attest firm. Support with rewriting FSPs. Other Assist Corporate Tax Team with other non-Income tax related topics. Support Tax Managers and Analysts. Work with other Tax Analysts to ensure all daily tasks are being completed and reviewed if necessary. Required Education & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. MBA or master's in taxation preferred. CPA preferred. 3+ years' experience required, in public accounting or manufacturing sector. Proficient tax and non-tax (e.g., MS excel (can perform complex functions)) software skills. Experience with Hyperion, CorpTax, OneSource, and SAP are a plus. Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
