Pay Rate: $26.06

What you'll do:

A Yard Driver is responsible for transportation of trailers and products relative to assigned area of responsibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* General vehicle maintenance on assigned vehicle

* Complete all log books and other paperwork

* Perform daily vehicle inspections

* Report vehicle maintenance and necessities to appropriate management

* Load and unload customer and/or vehicles as required

* Maintains and cleans vehicle and assigned work area

* Material handling

* Conform to all DOT safety regulations

* Other duties as assigned by supervisor

What you'll need:



  • Possess a current and valid Class A CDL.
  • Safe driving record with no more than one accident or moving violation within the previous 12 months from date of hire.
  • 12+ months of verifiable driving experience (defined as interstate operation of a Class A combination vehicle/tractor trailer) within the previous three years.
  • At least 22 years of age at the time of hire.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience with electronic, on-board recordkeeping systems.
  • Previous experience working in customer facing roles.
