Position Summary
This position works in tandem with the Coordinator of Honors Recruitment & Enrollment to recruit the very best students to the University of Georgia Jere W. Morehead Honors College. All Honors College admission applications are processed by the person in this position. Many prospective students questions and concerns are handled by this position. Reports and other forms of data collection are processed and interpreted by the person in this position. Travel arrangement and logistics for recruitment activities are coordinated in this office.

Duties/Responsibilities
Assist with data management for the Office of Recruitment and Enrollment within the Honors College. This includes creating and updating spreadsheets, working in different management systems, data entry and records management, statistics, budget, enrollment data, and listserv. Produces standard merge letters, reports, records, and other documents for the Coordinator of Recruitment and Enrollment, Dean of the Honors College, and other departments.

Duties/Responsibilities
Provide customer service and front-line support by corresponding with prospective students, families, and other departments via email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings. Effectively facilitate and promote campus relationships with other departments on campus. Present to both small and large groups and facilitate panels for perspective and committed students. Needed to communicate with other offices and departments to ensure a flow of information and problem solving.

Process all Honors College applications for first-year prospective students, first-semester entry students, and transfer students. Coordinate the application mailings to all prospective Honors College students.

Serves as the administrative assistant for the Coordinator of Recruitment and Enrollment within the Honors College by assisting with scheduling meetings and arranging travel for recruitment visits.

Assists with campus recruitment activities such as presenting admission requirements at Honors College information sessions (public speaking), In-person orientation sessions, walk-in visitors (face-to-face meetings), recruitment receptions, Scholar Preview Days, and Admitted Students Days.
