CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services. Summary: The Senior Carpenter is responsible for completing general construction duties to include drywall removal, repair, and installation, flooring removal and installation, painting and other various general construction duties at various facilities in the U.S. The Senior Carpenter is required to travel extensively to perform work at approximately 83 different sites. This position is field based, with all duties conducted on location across various facilities.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform general carpentry by using hand and power tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, levels, drills, presses, sanders, table saws, joiners, planers, wood lathes, and mortising machines to replace, install, repair and maintain floors, walls, ceilings, partitions,
- Drywall installation, repair and finishing (hanging, mudding and sanding)
- Painting of walls, trim and baseboards.
- Raised floor installation to include surface prep, layout, adhesive and/or tool use.
- Floor installation (tile, VCT, carpet) to include standard prep and layout
- Assists with minor plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC in the construction, maintenance, repair, remodeling and alteration of rooms and facilities according to work orders or verbal instructions
- Perform basic demolition to include drywall and ceiling tile removal
- Movement of construction materials/equipment, cleaning, sweeping and material prep
- Contributes to an accident-free work environment by complying with instructions, codes, regulations and standards for the use of power tools, wearing protective equipment, reporting incidents of unsafe work activity to supervisors, and following standard safety precautions during work.
- Focuses on customer needs and customer satisfaction, projects a positive customer service environment to both internal and external customers and promotes and encourages an attitude of exemplary customer service and high integrity.

- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- This role involves significant physical activity, including climbing ladders, frequent lifting of items weighing over 50 pounds, and working in confined or awkward spaces (e.g., crawling or crouching). Occasionally, lifting objects weighing 75 pounds or more may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years minimum of drywall/construction/carpentry experience
- Ability to travel 100%
