The Industry Process Consultant for the SOLIDWORKS Brand is a member of the Dassault Systemes - North America Sales organization. The Industry Process Consultant's (IPC) mission is to reveal, demonstrate and validate with customers how to maximize the value of the SOLIDWORKS portfolio. The IPC advise customers to address their business transformation by re-engineering their processes, leveraging SOLIDWORKS products and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This crucial role is part of the Dassault Systemes NAM Partner Excellence Team, supporting Partner Enablement and Direct Pre-Sales activities. The Industry Process Consultant for SOLIDWORKS Data Management solutions is responsible for providing comprehensive technical pre-sales support in all areas of North America (Canada/USA/Mexico), with a primary focus on Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). The tasks include: Developing and coaching resellers and fellow employees on SOLIDWORKS Data Management solutions, such as (but not limited to) demonstrations, specific product positioning, new product releases, competitive overviews, and contributing to help sell other products in the SOLIDWORKS portfolio. The role acts as the primary SOLIDWORKS PDM, SOLIDWORKS Manage and 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Platform Technical Subject Matter Expert for North America (Canada/USA/Mexico) Support the Key Accounts Sales Team in pre-sales support such as discovery calls, product presentations (demos), coaching, etc. Ability to identify customers and prospects business objectives, and align them with the capabilities of the SOLIDWORKS portfolio to ensure that the expected outcomes of a project are realized and that the value is delivered effectively. Help develop sales and/or marketing content such as product video overview, demonstration content, what's new information, etc. Support pre-sales activities such as hands-on test drives, sales webinars, customer workshops, etc. Willingness and ability to travel to the USA, Canada and occasionally Mexico (20-40%) Qualifications Bachelor of Sciences in engineering or similar experience. 5 - 10 years of relevant experience with Strong Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) background. Technical Skills Excellent product knowledge of SOLIDWORKS PDM and SOLIDWORKS Manage, or comparable Good product knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA capabilities Product knowledge of SOLIDWORKS Design a plus Basic knowledge MS Office Professional Skills Advise on efficiency improvements Consult with technical staff Identify new business opportunities Keep up to date on product knowledge Building an account strategy Soft Skills Teamwork Self Motivated Verbal Communication Problem Solving Presentation Delivery Skills Applying Professional Experience Leading Others We do not have a set deadline for applying to this job opportunity, as we are accepting applications continuously on an ongoing basis.
