Job Summary:

Bongards' Creameries is seeking a Day Shift Bulk Poucher Operator based out of our Humboldt facility. The Poucher Operator is responsible for verification, operation, resupply and basic maintenance of the Pattyn Box Maker/ Bag Sealer Machine on the Bulk line.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Operation of Pattyn box maker / bag sealer machine
  • Ensure boxes are taped correctly on lower side and fill out related paperwork
  • Monitor the quality of the boxes, bags and communicate to other operators
  • Ensure pouches are properly sealed at bottom edge
  • Keep immediate work area neat and in order
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
  • All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead


Skills and Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent


  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills


  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties
  • Some mechanical aptitude
  • Be coachable and able to work in a team


  • Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines


  • Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
  • Must be able to lift up to 55lbs


Schedule:



  • Day Shift 5:45am to 6:00pm Monday - Friday
