The Research Data Analyst 2 is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of research data. The incumbent will design and conduct research including selecting data samples, developing research instruments, analyzing collected information according to established statistical methods, and developing recommendations based on research findings. This role is responsible for preparing reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to interpret and communicate data and results.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Demonstrated prior experience in related area.
- Working knowledge of research and wet lab function.
- Working skills in processing and analyzing biological fluids ( from tissue too) for nanoparticle tracking analysis and singe nanoparticle tracking analyses and fluorescence capture
- Working skills in statistical analysis, systems programming, database design and data security measures.
- Working skills analyzing large nanoparticle data sets with scatter and fluorescence single nanoparticles
- Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.
- Supervises Visiting Scholars/Graduate students and postddocs on all projects related to nanoparticle tracking analyses, ZetaVew Quatt fluorescence capture
- Demonstrated working experience with proteomic methods and models incorporating a broad range of study designs and traditional and modern statistical approaches.
- Familiar with giving lectures on large data set analyses at international meetings
- Providing written interpretation of statistical methods and results, in a manner suitable for leading a manuscript to publication.
- Demonstrated ability to read complex scientific literature, understand appropriate study design, formulate appropriate statistical hypotheses, and propose appropriate statistical methods.

Department Specific Job Scope
This role works on research data reporting assignments that are of moderate diversity in scope. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Specifically, under supervision of the Principal Investigator, Dr. Wendy M. Campana the incumbent:
* Applies data, programming, systems engineering, and information management concepts to conducting scientific research for healthcare and data science projects.
* Works on data of moderate scope and complexity where analyses of situations or data require a review of a variety of factors.
* Participates in the creation and implementation of applied mathematical models analyzing structured and unstructured data, building data collection and management applications, and developing manuscripts and abstracts for scientific presentation.
* Designs and implements capture of nanoparticle data analyses from technical processes such as machine learning and database management.
* Extracts data from multiple data sources such as Particle Metrix Quatt 400 Nanoparticle tracking analysis, Malvern NS300 Nanoparticle Tracking DIA and PRIDE datasetsand integrates with other secondary data layers and other sources.
* Analyzes and models data with the aim to provides actionable insights to collaborating teams to aid processes within the institution and will also work on visualization projects to create institutional and research-based dashboard development.
* Works on research data reporting assignments that are of moderate diversity in scope.
* Supervises all trainees, technicians, and Visiting scholars in nanoparticle analyses, data analyses and management.
