Job Description:
Cydecor is seeking a Business/Requirements Analyst (BA) in Reston, VA to work with our MEAD Infrastructure Team. The Business Analyst will develop, document, and maintain customer stakeholder requirements as user stories in product backlogs. Ability to develop business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models. Ability to translate and decompose business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories. Develop and clarify customer stakeholder requirements to enable Engineering Team design, development and test activities for the MEAD Infrastructure COAs and multiple software development teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and resolve project issues
- Analyze complex business problems and determine an IT solution
- Gather data and analyze business and user needs
- Provide recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support client's business goals
- Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process of system
- Define objectives and scope of business system
- Work closely with managers and end users to determine the best IT solution
- Provide team status reports to the leadership
- Coordinate with external teams to task assignments and to avoid duplicate work
- Conduct post-project evaluation
Here's what you need:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Experience in the Intelligence Community
- Experience in software requirements gathering and writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project
- Proficient in data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong task planning and organizational skills
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working within DIA
- Understanding of RMF processes
Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Education:
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree desired.
Work Schedule:
- Hybrid work schedule, up to 4 days a week onsite.
