Location: Birmingham, AL 35211

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Shift: Rotating Day/Night (3 months day / 3 months night)

Hours: 40-44 hrs/week; weekends and holiday availability required

Overview:

We're seeking a hands-on Chemical Operator to support daily production activities. The ideal candidate will follow detailed instructions to operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently. Previous lab or chemical handling experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Operate basic production equipment and perform routine operational tasks.
  • Follow strict process instructions and safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and repair as directed.
  • Support quality control efforts by adhering to established standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of operations and report any issues promptly.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, including proper use of PPE.


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (Secondary/Intermediate education).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or lab environment preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to safety.
  • Strong communication skills and reliability.
  • Willingness to work shifts or overtime as needed.


Preferred:



  • Prior lab or process experience in a chemical or industrial setting.


Work Environment:

This role involves working in a production area with exposure to chemicals, machinery, and protective equipment requirements.
