Essential Job Duties |
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to contribute to innovative, interdisciplinary work at the intersection of plant and molecular biology, data-driven discovery, and applied research. The Research Associate position will perform daily research duties associated with projects, such as genome editing, plant transformation,
PCR, digital microscopy,
DNA/
RNA extraction, cell & tissue culture, and statistical analysis. The Associate must be able to manage research projects, conduct experiments, compile data, and participate in lab meetings and/or presentations. This position provides the opportunity to work closely with students, postdocs, and faculty in an open, shared laboratory environment. We are looking for someone who is cooperative, adaptable, and committed to fostering a productive, team-oriented atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, creativity, and a collaborative mindset to advance projects that address complex challenges in agriculture and related fields. - Relevant Master's degree, or Relevant Bachelor's and 3 or more years of relevant experience, relevant independent experience and education
