Essential Job Duties
Supports the instructor in delivering an engaging and effective learning experience. Responsibilities include assisting with grading assignments and quizzes, maintaining course materials on the learning management system, responding to student questions, and holding office hours or review sessions as needed. The TA may also help facilitate group projects and guest speaker sessions, as well as support the development of instructional resources. Strong communication, organizational skills, and an interest in food safety and quality are essential. Previous successful completion of FS 250 or prior experience with the course curriculum is required.
