Responsibilities

The Senior Vice President, Member Services leads the organization's development and delivery of innovative products, programs, tools and services that create strong Travel Leaders Network affiliation advantages, loyalty and sales among member agency owners/advisors and increased revenue for Travel Leaders Network.

Based on key success metrics as defined by Travel Leaders Network President, the Senior Vice President will lead Member Products in the US and Canada, Programs such as SNAP and other departments in collaboration with internal teams and external partners to create industry-leading agency benefits and support designed grow each agency's satisfaction and deepen relationship value and Travel Leaders Network "stickiness" with emphasis in four key areas:

    Identification and implementation of agency tools and technology that will decrease agency operational costs, increase staff productivity and enable sales growth.
  1. Creation of cross-departmental strategies connecting Educational Services, Member Products, Meetings & Events, Alliances, Industry Relations, Marketing and Media Relations to consistently increase owner/advisor utilization of existing Travel Leaders/Internova internal programs.
  2. Development of innovative new network-wide initiatives that anticipate industry developments, recognize trends and meet emerging owner/advisor growth needs.
  3. Coordination and close strategic alignment of all initiatives and activities with agency initiatives undertaken by Vice President(s), Member Sales (Affiliate and Associate relationship management)

Expected activities to achieve success include, but are not limited to:

  • Ongoing analysis, assessment and segmentation of member agency businesses in order to understand needs and target maximum agency utilization of relevant Travel Leaders Network programs, products, tools and services.
  • Development of an annual action plan and goals for each product or service with regular progress reporting.
  • Collaboration with Affiliate and Associate Sales/Relationship teams to implement strategies that engage and inform frontline agency staff of key products and services in order to measurably increase Travel Leaders Network participant satisfaction and retention.
  • Delivery of valuable solutions and superior customer service that distinguishes Travel Leaders Network Associate membership from other agency affiliation options.
  • Development of programs for owner networking, travel and peer-to-peer social opportunities in order to create a strong emotional connection with other Travel Leaders Network members and increased travel industry advocacy of Travel Leaders Network.
  • Constantly envisioning new revenue opportunities and sharing better or new methods of increasing value to agencies and Travel Leaders Network.


Qualifications

  • 15+ years of travel industry management experience including an understanding of agency operations, finance, marketing and technology
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and reliable, timely follow-through
  • Ability to construct business plans, marketing plans and manage budgets
  • Discipline to operate independently and efficiently
  • Self-directed, ability to problem solve, drive results and demonstrated follow-up skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and personalities under pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to lead meetings and training sessions with superior facilitation skills
  • Willingness to travel as required and ability to work as a home-based employee
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with the full suite of Microsoft Office applications, Zoom and Salesforce

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.
